How street cleaning works in Boston

Daytime street cleaning runs April 1 to November 30 in most neighborhoods. In the North End, South End and Beacon Hill it runs March 1 to December 31. Source
Overnight cleaning of main roads, arterials and commercial roads runs all year. Source
On City holidays daytime cleaning is canceled, and overnight cleaning runs as normal. Evacuation Day and Bunker Hill Day are not among them. Source
Cars left during cleaning are towed: $132 for the tow and $35 for each day of storage, on top of the ticket. Source
Odd and even mean the house-number side of the street. We place each row of the city schedule on the street map between its two cross streets; rows we cannot place are left out, not guessed. Source
