When is your street swept next?

Use your location, type an address, or zoom in and tap a curb.

Later

Each side is its own line. The two curbs of a street are usually swept on different days.

The calendar is the key: red today, yellow tomorrow, green in two or three days, blue later this week, gray after that. Tap a day to see only the curbs swept that day.

Going away? Pick "Show parking for" and a number of days to light up curbs that stay free that long, or get a one-move plan when none does.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find out when my street is swept in San Francisco?

Open the map, tap Use my location while you stand by your car, and read the color and the schedule for your side of the street. You can also type an address or tap any curb. The schedule comes from San Francisco Public Works.

Why does the other side of my street have a different day?

San Francisco schedules each side of each block separately, so one curb can be swept while cars park on the other. The map draws the two sides as two lines.

How much is a street cleaning ticket in San Francisco?

$105, under the SFMTA fees and fines schedule effective July 1, 2026. Source: https://www.sfmta.com/media/45130/download

Is street cleaning enforced on holidays?

Not on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas. On other city holidays SFMTA lists night sweeping as enforced, so the map keeps night sweeps on those days. Source: https://www.sfmta.com/getting-around/drive-park/holiday-enforcement-schedule
