Terms of use

Last updated October 25, 2026.

Information, not a guarantee

SweepBeep shows street cleaning schedules published by San Francisco Public Works, with holiday rules from the SFMTA. We check that this site matches the city's data (see data and accuracy), but the city's data can be out of date or wrong, and signs on the street can change. The posted sign is the rule. Always read it before you park.

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for parking citations, towing, or other costs, including any that follow from information on this site being incomplete, out of date or wrong.

Not affiliated with the city

SweepBeep is independent. It is not operated, endorsed or sponsored by the City and County of San Francisco, San Francisco Public Works or the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.

The data

The schedules come from the city's street sweeping dataset, which San Francisco Public Works publishes under the Open Data Commons Public Domain Dedication and License. Map backgrounds are © OpenStreetMap contributors, via OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles.

Using the site

You may use the site and share links to it freely. Please do not overload it with automated requests; if you need the data in bulk, take it from the city's dataset, which is free.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
