Every street cleaning schedule on this site is a San Francisco Public Works record, shown as the city published it. This page lists every source, how we read it, the result of our latest row-by-row check against the city's data, and every record we could not place.

For each city record the check confirms that it appears once on its street page, on the right block and side, with the same day, weeks and hours; that the city's own written description of the schedule (for example "Tue 1st, 3rd, 5th") agrees with its day and week fields; and that it is drawn on the map when the city provides its location. It runs against the city's live data every week, and this page shows the result from the most recent data refresh. Every schedule line on a street page shows the city record number it comes from, so any line can be traced back to the city's data.

How we read the city's data
- Sides of the street. Each record names a side as left or right of the direction the block's line is drawn in, plus a compass side (North, SouthEast...). We draw and match sides from the left/right field and show the compass label the city gives. We checked the two against each other for every record; they agree on all but the 8 listed below.
- Weeks of the month. "1st and 3rd Tuesday" means the first and third Tuesday of the month: days 1 to 7 are week 1, 8 to 14 week 2, and so on, with days 29 to 31 as week 5.
- Holidays. On New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas we show no sweeping. On other SFMTA holidays we keep night sweeps (before 6 AM), sweeps on blocks the city flags as swept on holidays, and the city's posted holiday schedules, and skip the rest. Holiday dates after January 1, 2027 are projected from SFMTA's published pattern; we do not skip any sweep on a projected date until SFMTA publishes it.
- Times are Pacific time, including across daylight saving changes.
- The posted sign always wins. SF Public Works updates the dataset as needed when schedules change. Per the city, bike-lane sweeping is not in it: bike lanes may be swept any day, 6 PM to 1 AM or midnight to 7 AM.

The city publishes these 22 records without map geometry. They are on their street pages with their schedules, but not on the map, and our alerts cannot match a parked car to them.
