How street sweeping works in Chicago

Chicago sweeps by ward section, April 1 to November 20 this year, on dates the city publishes each spring. Source
Each section is swept on two dates a month: one side of the street on the first date and the other side on the second. The city does not say which side goes first, so we show both dates for both sides. Move for both. Source
Sweepers work weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting, so we use those hours. The temporary signs posted on your block are the rule. Source
